Day 1 |
Depart Dublin Airport for Tel Aviv. Arrive Tel Aviv, transfer & to Tiberias.
Light snack on arrival. Overnight Restal Hotel. |
Day 2 |
Visit Caesarea Maritima. Continue on to the Carmel Mountain range to visit the Church in Muhrakha. Noon short service and quiet prayer. On to Haifa. Visit Bahai Centre. Visit Acre, (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Dinner and overnight at the Restal Hotel. |
Day 3 |
Boat ride from Tiberias to Capernaum. Visit Capernaum. Time for quiet reflection and prayer on the Sea of Galilee. Mass at lakeshore site near the Church of the Primacy. Visit Golan Heights and Caesarea Philippi. Return to Tiberias. Dinner and overnight at the Restal Hotel. |
Day 4 |
Drive to Mount Tabor. Ascend/descend by taxis to visit the Church of the Transfiguration. Drive to visit Cana of Galilee. Proceed to Nazareth. Mass at Church of the Annunciation in Nazareth. Visit St. Joseph’s Church. Visit the Church of St Gabriel (Mary’s Well) and the Charles de Foucault Centre. Dinner and overnight at the Restal Hotel. |
Day 5 |
Mass at Church of the Beatitudes. Visit Magdala then continue along the shores of the Sea of Galilee to the Jordan River Baptism Site, for service and renewal of baptismal vows. Drive through the Jordan Valley. Visit Jericho (Place of Temptation, Zacchaeus’s Tree). Proceed to Bethlehem and check in to Manger Square Hotel for dinner and overnight. |
Day 6 |
Mass at Church of the Nativity. Visit the Church of the Nativity and Shepherds’ Fields. Time for private prayer at the Church of the Nativity and explore the city of Bethlehem. Early dinner followed by Holy Hour at the Church of the Nativity. Optional walk around Manger Square after the Holy Hour and visit the Mosque. Overnight in Manger Square Hotel. |
Day 7 |
Drive to Masada and visit Herod’s stronghold by cable car. Proceed to Qumran where we will have an opportunity for prayer service and quiet reflection. Stop for a swim/floating in the lowest point on earth. Stop at the Good Samaritan Inn. Drive to Jerusalem. Proceed to Mount Scopus for an introductory view of Old and New Jerusalem. Mass at Dominus Flevit. Dinner and overnight in Manger Square Hotel. |
Day 8 |
Drive to the Mount of Olives and visit the Church of the Ascension. Mass at the Church of All Nations. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane and Mary’s Tomb. Drive through the Kidron Valley to Mount Zion - visit the room of the Last Supper and Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu. Proceed to the Haas Promenade. Enjoy the panoramic view of the Kidron Valley. Overnight in the Manger Square Hotel. |
Day 9 |
Drive to the Old City. Visit the Church of St. Anne and Pool of Bethesda. Mass at the Flagellation Church. Walk the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Visit Calvary and the Holy Sepulchre. Walk through the original bazaars and Jewish Quarter to the Western Wall. Transfer back to the hotel for early dinner. Holy Hour that evening at the Garden of Gethsemane. Return and overnight in the Yehuda Hotel. |
Day 10 |
Drive to Abu Ghosh-visit the Church of the Sisters of Zion. Mass at the Church of the Sisters of Zion, Church of the Ark of the Covenant. Drive to Ein Karem and visit the Church of the Visitation. Return to Jerusalem. Afternoon is free for shopping and personal visits to Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight in Yehuda Hotel, Jerusalem. |
Day 11 |
Transfer from Hotel to Tel Aviv Airport for return flight home to Dublin. |

There is no visa requirement for travel to Israel.
Please update your Covid vaccine/booster as your last vaccine may be required within a certain time-frame from travel. (We will advise all intending travellers in due course). Apart from Covid, there are no vaccinations required to enter Israel but please contact your own GP in regard to this matter as s/he will be aware of your individual requirements.

September is usually a dry month in Israel with less than 10mm of rain that month. Temperatures are around 25°C rising to 28°C in the afternoon. Dawn is around 06:00 and Dusk 19:00, so you'll enjoy around 12h of sunshine a day.
